| Kerikeri glass artist Sue Hawker is a former international journalist who in recent years has developed her artistic talents. She produces distinctive sculpture made from cast crystal glass and laminated cut plate glass. She uses a vocabulary derived from ancient goddess archetypes. The narrative embodied in these contemporary expressions of earlier forms remains relevant today. The aim is to reveal the diverse aspects of the feminine psyche which is powerful, graceful and beautiful.
