As the collective aim of NZSearch and SearchNZ is to provide a comprehensive resource for locating New Zealand Web content, any submissions must meet the following criteria before being considered:
only sites that are clearly representative of a New Zealand organisation, individual or service will be accepted, with preference given to sites belonging to the .NZ domain space.
The URL should be a proper domain-name and not an IP address
Please do not attempt to use HTML or Javascript tags in any description of your site, as this code is stripped out upon submission
only one registration per Web site will be accepted
Please note that we do not accept sites primarily part of affiliate programs, "make money fast" submissions or Multi Level Marketing schemes (MLM), "get paid to surf", and due to searcher complaints nor do we accept 'link' only sites.
We do not accept automated submissions or redirecting URLs and any attempt to dynamically or manually manipulate our databases may result in your URL, IP or host domain being permanently omitted from NZSearch and other listings.
Also note that NZSearch is not an indexing search engine, it is a directory of sites carefully categorised by humans. We do not crawl sites, look at meta tags or index pages.
