Bay of Plenty
Canterbury Museum is a treasure trove of riches. Its collections have engaged and delighted visitors from all over the world for more than 130 years. Highlights include the Maori Galleries, the Christchurch Street, Discovery centre for children and the world’s most significant Antarctic collection.
Museum of Wellington City & Sea
The Museum of Wellington City & Sea was re-opened after redevelopment in late 1999. The website is the virtual home of the Museum, it backgrounds what you will find in a visit as well as current exhibitions, public programmes and events. The Museum explores tales of sea and land. Using modern storytelling techniques, it explores Wellington’s distinctive character from first settlement by Maori to the present.
New Zealand National Maritime Museum
Maritime history and museum with collections of art treasures, heritage vessels and historic steam ships etc. Americas Cup exhibition as well as other NZ tourist attractions such as steamboat rides and sailing cruises from Auckland harbour. Also maritime library with e.g. records, films and movies etc. NZNMM merchandise and publications as well as a maritime newsletter. A unique convention, conference and functions centre with school holiday programmes. Visitor information centre on-site.
North Otago Museum
The Museum encourages appeciation and understanding of the natural and cultural heritage of the Waitaki district. The Archive welcomes family history enquiries.

Taranaki Aviation Transport and Technology Museum Inc.
TATATM has on display a large collection of items housed in six buildings. It includes farm equipment, cars and assorted vehicles, aircraft, printing and communications equipment, a Post Office display, office items, a steam and marine section and other items of years gone by. We are a non-profit organisation with approximately 120 members. All activities are undertaken by volunteers.
Paekakariki Station Precinct Trust
The PSPT was established to develop & administer the venue of the Railway Station @ Paekakariki for historic preservation and other allied or supporting activity.

Tokomaru Steam Engine Museum is a private collection of machinery belonging to Colin and Esma Stevenson. The Museum opened to the public in 1970 after constant requests from steam enthusiasts. Thousands of visitors from all over the world have enjoyed reminiscing amongst the relics of New Zealand's industrial and agricultural heritage.
Pataka Museum of Arts and Cultures
Pataka Museum of Arts and Cultures in Porirua showcases leading contemporary Maori, Pacific Island and New Zealand artists, and reflects the social and cultural heritage of Porirua City.
