| 11. The Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust |
 | The true purpose of the Park is for study and the breeding of all endangered species including the cultivation of endangered trees, plants and ground cover. The Park needs to be a "quiet place for" walking, cycling, perhaps a bridle path but no motorised traffic. There is a historical village in the making that is not yet open to the public. http://www.isaacconservation.org.nz/ |
12. Warkworth district museum |
 | The Warkworth Museum holds thousands of artifacts relating to the local warkworth area. The town itself was created by members of the Northumberland community of the same name and many of the streets are named after places and people from Northumberland. A wealth of information on many of the early settlers is held in the museum as well as historical records of schools, businesses, sports clubs and community and church groups making it a good source of genealogical information. http://www.warkworthmuseum.co.nz/ contact |
