Wellington City Libraries
This site contains the Wellington City library catalogue together with extensive information about the central and branch libraries. Through this site you can even reserve or interloan books and pick them up when you next visit the library. Site development is ongoing so we're really interested in suggestions for improvements.
Treasury's role is to advise the Government on economic and financial policy, including fiscal policy, and to manage the Crown's finances. The Minister of Finance is the Responsible Minister for the Treasury. Its web site is regularly updated with internet versions of its publications such as the Crown financial statements, working papers and economic and fiscal updates. Mobile Surgical Services
The New Zealand Government plans to proceed with a project to provide a mobile surgical unit enabling regular day surgery facilities to small rural communities whose hospitals have lost their operating theatres, and also to provide video-linked surgical support services to bigger centres (Telepresence). The service is to commence in the fourth quarter of 2001.
