Fineline Services opened its doors in 2002, offering the Taranaki region a dedicated plate profiling and processing service. Since then Fineline has grown, and now offers their services nationwide to agricultural equipment manufactures thru to gas and oil companies, from small one off jobs to petrochemical vessels as well as everyone in between. Having state of the art technology at our disposal we offer high-precision cutting, brake-pressing, plate rolling, sectional rolling and bevelling with a commitment to quality and customer requirements.Fineline also provide materials ranging from Mild Steel, Medium Tensile Steel, High Tensile Steel thru to Wear Plate and Boiler Plate in a range of thicknesses.

PROFILE CUTTING

Fineline Services have a Stealth 3000 CNC profile cutter and a Crossfire CNC profile cutter, with a maximum bed size of 13,000mm x 3,400mm and can cut up to 200mm thick steel. Our Stealth 3000 machine has twin high definition plasma cutting heads and can cut from 0.6mm thick up to and including 32mm thick carbon steel, 50mm thick stainless steel and 60mm thick aluminium. Our Crossfire machine has a single high definition plasma cutting head and three oxy-fuel cutting heads that can cut from 0.6mm thick up to and including 200mm thick plate. Both machines have etching/marking capabilities.

LASER CUTTING

Fineline offer efficient and accurate laser cutting capabilities for a wide range of materials and material grades. Using a quality and clean Laser Cut, components required for any project will benefit from our committed draughting team and quality control processes thru to our fast turnaround and prompt dispatch service.

SECTIONAL ROLLING

Fineline Services can sectional roll pipe, angle, channel, square and rectangular sections in carbon steel, aluminium and stainless steel. With the addition of our new rolls we also have pre-bending capabilities and the capacity to roll cones, oval and square forms as well as having full CNC operation. We have the use of three sets of plate rolls at our disposal and one set of sectional rolls.

PRESSING

Both our big press and small press are designed to bend steel to a range of shapes and curves. We can press aluminium, carbon and stainless for ducts, cylinders, cones, pyramids, bifurcations, draught tubes, lobster backs, triangular, square and rectangle to round sections. Our large 450 tonne press has a 5,100mm long bed and our small 320 tonne press has a 4,100mm bed length.

BEVELLING/PREPPING

We carry out beveling and prepping on most grades of steel. Our nibbler machine can cut at angles of 22.5°, 30°, 32.5°, 35°, 37.5°, 45° and 55°. Our creeper cutter can prep at any degree required. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for fur-ther specific requirements.

All of our boiler grade steel is Australian and United Kingdom Standard certified. We can boast thorough traceability on all of the material we have in stock across the grades. With on-site plate rolling capabilities, Fineline can provide accurately rolled profiles to suit your request. With 3100mm long rolls we are able to provide formed sections for vessel manufacturing, tank and agricultural equipment. BANDSAW CUTTING

As well as profile cutting, Fineline offer a Band Sawing Service for your total cutting solutions. With a large capacity Daito Band Saw we are able to cut solid round and square bar, SHS, RHS, flat bar, UB’s, UC’s, angle, pipe and channel. Our machine offers many different cutting angles and bundle cut capabilities for larger quantities.
