Works by Dugal Armour

My work is a fusion of art, design and old styled craftsmanship.  I do not work in a particular material, rather I prefer to use the process of developing an idea to determine which material is most suitable for any given project.  Working this way has allowed me to develop a broad skill set and deep appreciation of the innate characteristics of a wide range of materials.

 

Flume was originally established in 1998 to promote a range of hand crafted fountains.  Today Flume encompasses all of my work.  Some has been featured in magazines, some commissioned by overseas clients and some made for the sheer joy of creating.  All my work is made with passion and integrity.

 

I live in Oamaru, a small but lively town on the East Coast of the South Island in New Zealand.  I field interest from throughout the country and overseas.
