About TACCOC

The Thoroughbred & Classic Car Owners Club Incorporated was originally formed in 1976 to cater for enthusiasts with English and European sports and grand-touring cars.  This was soon extended to include historic racing cars.  From this base the club has grown to become one of the major clubs promoting classic motor racing in New Zealand.  Over the last forty-plus years it has organised numerous Classic & Historic race meetings at Whenuapai, Pukekohe, Hampton Downs, Manfeild, Bay Park and Taupo.  Currently the race programme includes one race meeting at Pukekohe and two Hampton Downs events.  All of these traditionally involve competitors from most of the other marque clubs in the New Zealand classic scene.

Other TACCOC activities include social events such as the occasional lunch or picnic run.

TACCOC has no permanent trophies for anything other than for service to classic racing and historic racing.

If you own a car that you think may make you eligible for membership, you can apply on the Register form on the “Membership” page or e-mail secretary@taccoc.co.nz.
