Bioresearches

Bioresearches is part of Babbage Consultants Limited, a wholly New Zealand owned and leading provider of ecological and environmental services for terrestrial, freshwater, coastal and marine projects.

On behalf of our clients, we survey, assess, map, monitor and manage flora and fauna habitats, watercourses, coastal and environmental conditions, and advise on cost-effective measures to avoid, minimise and mitigate environmental impacts. Our services are integrated into resource consent applications or compliance for land development and natural resource management projects.

Our focus is on identifying sustainable solutions that meet our clients’ challenges ranging from restoration programmes to biodiversity offsetting and fish and reptile relocations.

Our collective experience across all areas of ecological services, environmental science and engineering, and our ability to integrate rigorous science with commercial imperatives set us apart from our competitors.

Solving Your Problems

For over five decades, Bioresearches has led the way in meeting the ecological management needs of both private and public sector clients.
Our commitment to problem solving and thorough understanding of legislation and codes of compliance enable us to incorporate environmental impact mitigation measures into project design while keeping costs down.

Once projects have a green light from statutory and regulatory authorities, we focus on bringing projects to life on time and within budget. We work with you to help solve problems and develop innovative solutions, mitigating many of the risks and challenges associated with complex land developments and resource management.

Collaboratively Addressing Your Needs

Bioresearches is an experienced team of specialist ecologists, environmental scientists, engineers, and sustainability professionals.
This strong and collaborative partnership enable us to deliver our comprehensive service mix which we believe is a pre-requisite for successful, cost-effective land development.

As part of Babbage, Bioresearches collaborates widely with other disciplines within Babbage, including civil, geotechnical, structural engineering, planners, surveyors, project managers and other experts to offer a full suite of land development and resource management services.
