Hi, I'm Alex. I moved to the Bay of Plenty with my wife and 2 daughters in 2017. We invested in quality printers and signage equipment and launched DesignHub in 2019.
I've been in the signage industry for over 15 years and am also a Graphic Designer and Mural Artist. I'm passionate about sign making and love the variety of projects I get to work on. For me, there's a satisfying blend of practical and design problem solving involved.
Our goal is to use our creative skills and personalised service to deliver outstanding signage solutions to businesses in Papamoa, Mount Maunganui, Te Puke, Tauranga and beyond. We're a small but nimble team with a dedicated workshop on the home property.
EQUIPMENT
In November 2021 we upgraded to the latest Mimaki JV100 wide format eco-solvent digital printer. DesignHub were proudly the first company in New Zealand to own and operate this latest signage specific machine. We run an 8 colour ink system offering our customers an incredible colour gamut and exceptional digital printing output quality.
Paired with our wide format laminator, plotter and design specific computer software we run state of the art equipment to meet the ever increasing pace of the industry.
