The remainder of the North Island Mostly fine, but cloudy periods about Gisborne from this evening and isolated showers developing about the ranges tomorrow.
Fiordland Cloudy periods with isolated showers about the fiords today. Showers becoming frequent later tomorrow and spreading elsewhere.
The remainder of the South Island Mostly fine, but cloudy periods about Stewart Island with the odd shower there today. Cloud increasing in the west also Nelson tomorrow, with isolated showers developing in Westland tomorrow afternoon.
Chatham Islands Often cloudy, with the odd light shower today.
